An opportunity for you to come in and get checked by one of our chiropractors. No appointment is necessary and payment is by koha, no amount too little or too much and will be forwarded on to chiropractic research. These open days came about when some family budgets changed due to lockdowns and was a way to keep our community engaged with their chiropractic healthcare. What was then monthly “Give an Adjustment Open Community Practice” is now offered quarterly to our existing community and those new to us.

Valuable and popular workshop on 3 things that we do often sit, stand and sleep and how these things done wrongly or rightly can have major impact on how a body unwinds. Along with some other practical every day lifestyle advice.

Kate Carvalho has a lifelong interest in science, health and movement. In addition to her Chiropractic degree Kate holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Psychology. After receiving life-changing chiropractic care Kate realized the power that chiropractic has as a holistic health-care modality that runs far deeper than just symptom relief, and decided to pursue it as a career herself. Kate is constantly expanding her skills by attending post-graduate seminars where she continues to deepen her knowledge of the human body and how to optimise it. In her spare time Kate enjoys yoga, pilates, nature and spending time with her husband and daughter. Kate has had the privilege of working in a wide variety of rural and urban settings around New Zealand and Australia and is excited to share her passion for chiropractic with the community and help the people of Orewa achieve and maintain optimal health..
